God wants to give you the deepest desires of your heart. He wants to heap blessing upon you as it says in John 1:16 “From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.” But more than that God wants us to find our fulfillment in Him. Give Psalm 37:4,5 another reading and pay attention to what is being said. If you find your pleasure (happiness, joy, glee, gladness, excitement) in the Lord, He will grant (accord, supply, furnish, present you) you the yearning (desperate want, hunger, wish, longing, craving) of your heart. God wants you bless you with Himself! How many times is the true meaning of these words presented to us in scripture Matthew 7:7,8 Ask, Seek, Knock-what will you find, God. Jeremiah 29:13 If you search with all of your heart what will you find God. Deuteronomy 4:29, 1 Chronicles 22:19.
